with white sandy beaches and tall tropical palm trees offering a

in abundance in the crystal clean waters, and over 240 bird species
have been documented on Bazaruto Island. Enjoy superb diving and
snorkelling along the magnificent coral reefs, and fishing enthusiasts

The Bazaruto Archipelago's islands were formed hundreds of thousands
years ago by sand deposits from the Limpopo River and various tectonic
forces several hundred kilometres to the south. These movements
caused small islands of sand covered with shells to form which over
time, developed into the beautiful Archipelago we see today.
